And yes, the orange flowers you see above are California's state flowers ("Cali-Flower") is the California Poppy (if you didn't realize, that is California's state flower!

So it boils down to Cauliflowers == California Poppies.....Hmm....
(well, both are flowers...one is edible, one isn't!)




........Anyways, welcome to my first blog post! It's been a long time since I've first blogged waaaaaaaay back in 2015, and the last time I did so was about CS (patricky168.blogspot.com) and other stuff.......

(Update- August of 2019): Here's a (proposed; in progress) brochure I planned to make for the local Santa Clara County Parks (awesome organization, check them out in their 29 parks around Santa Clara!!!)  about coniferous trees - something I am always excited for while hiking:

(UPDATE- November 21, 2019) SCC County Parks just released my current brochure! Feel free to let me know what you think about it, and if you live in the Bay Area, it will be at a County Park near you VERY SOON!!!! :-)

Here's a fresh start to the 2018 new year (which could apply to 2020 haha), with a nice hike at Sempervirens Point of Castle Rock State Park (see the location data on the side).
